In addition to the 4K tablet, Panasonic’s keynote also showed off a 56-inch display with 4K2K resolution (3840×2160 pixels). This prototype panel is produced through the “RGB all-printing method” that applies OLED materials to the substrate to form an electroluminescent (EL) layer.
Panasonic says this production technique is really simple and will help to adapt the production of OLED panels in various sizes.
As for the panel, it has a brightness of 500cd/m2, contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 and is just 8.9 mm thick (at the thinnest part)
