Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL Hands-on

Sony announced the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL today and were showcasing the devices at the Pepcom event. Both the devices look great in person with the taller Xperia Z adopting a glass design at the back whereas the shorter Xperia ZL goes for curvier back with matte finish.

The phones were snappy as you’d expect with a combination of 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and a 2GB RAM and the camera boasting a 13MP Exmor RS sensor. Best of all? The smartphone is waterproof and dustproof.

Sony expects to sell the device in Q1 2013.
