As promised, Corning has revealed more details on the Gorilla Glass 3. The new generation Gorilla Glass now comes with ‘Native Damage Resistance’ that improves the durability of the glass. Gorilla Glass 3 with NDR offers enhanced scratch resistance, with better strength and reduces scratch visibility if a scratch occurs.
Although Corning will be giving live demonstrations of the new Gorilla Glass at the CES, first products carrying it are expected in mid-2013.
