Asus India announces Taichi Ultrabook with Windows 8, dual display

Asus gave us an early glimpse of the Taichi ultrabook during the Padfone launch but today marks the official arrival of the notebook for the Indian market.

Taichi is equipped with two full HD 13.3-inch LED displays that allows users to make it work as a standalone laptop, a tablet or use both screens simultaneously for delivering a presentation, watching movie etc.

On the hardware side, Taichi is powered by Intel Core i7 3517M processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 256GB SSD, integrated Intel graphics, 5MP webcam, HDMI-out and USB 3.0.

Asus will sell the Taichi for Rs. 139,999.
