Google confirmed the most ill-kept rumor regarding its Nexus 7 variants. Google has shelved the paltry 8GB Nexus 7 by replacing it with the 16GB Nexus 7 acting as a base model for $199. Filling the $249 price point is the 32GB Nexus 7 that will give double the storage. Google has also added a 3G version of the Nexus 7 that supports over 200 GSM carriers worldwide and will give 32GB of storage.
The Wi-Fi-only models can be ordered through the Play Store right now whereas the 3G unlocked version will go on sale from November 13 in UK, US, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada.
