The smaller sized iPad was rumored for months and here it is finally. The new iPad mini boasts a 7.9-inch 1024×768 display, is 7.2mm thin and is 23 percent thinner and 53 percent lighter than the third generation iPad. Inside, the iPad mini is powered by a dual-core Apple A5 processor, LTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 5MP camera with 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera, Lightning connector, GPS and a 10 hours battery life.
iPad mini will be available in black and white colors from November 2 with a price tag of $329 for 16GB, $429 for 32GB and $529 for 64GB. Add $130 more to each variant if you want a 3G + LTE variant.
Pre-orders of the iPad mini begins on October 26.
