Sony today introduced a new version of PS3 that is 20 percent smaller and 25 lighter than the current PS3. To make the console more affordable, Sony will also introduce a 12GB model that will enable users to use Sony services and if user wants, can further upgrade by purchasing a separate HDD.
Furthermore, Sony will also sell PS3s with 250GB and 500GB storage – the latter variant reckoned as perfect for games that have large DLC packs.
The new PS3s will be available from last week of September with price starting from 230 euros for the 12GB version.
