WD intros My Passport Edge HDDs for PC and Mac

WD My Passport Edge for Mac

 

Western Digital has expanded its portable storage offerings with the new My Passport Edge HDDs. The My Passport Edge HDD comes in two flavors – one optimized for Windows PCs and the other for Mac and boasts USB 3.0 connectivity in slim and attractive design. Both drives support encryption and backup support, which is WD SmartWare software in the case of regular My Passport Edge and Apple Time Machine compatibility for the Mac counterpart.

The My Passport Edge and My Passport Edge for Mac 500 GB portable hard drives come with a 3-year limited warranty and are priced at $109.99 and $119.99 respectively.
