Samsung really has to learn a way or two to keep their upcoming devices under wraps. After giving away what is believed to be the next Galaxy Note, we’re looking at the upcoming Galaxy Player. It’s identified as YP-GP1 but given Samsung’s nomenclature, the PMP may be known as Galaxy Player 5.8.
As for the specs, the player runs Android 4.0 and features 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, a 5.8-inch qHD (960×540) display, new TouchWiz UI, 3MP main camera with front-facing VGA camera, T-DMB, GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot and 2500mAh battery.
No word on the release but since IFA is just around the corner, we can expect Samsung to unveil the player at the trade show later this month.
