China-based Xiaomi today unveiled their new flagship MI-2 phone that will take on the likes of Galaxy S III in the Chinese region. MI-2 is equipped with Qualcomm’s APQ8064 SoC that sports 1.5GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 320 GPU. The phone also boasts 2GB RAM for faster processing, a 4.3-inch IPS 1280×720 HD display, 8MP main and 2MP front-facing cameras, 2000mAh standard battery and runs MIUI’s version of Android 4.1.
Xiaomi will also sell accessories like a larger 3000mAh capacity battery etc.
The phone will go on sale from October for 2,000 yuan which translates to roughly $314.
