It seems Sony beat Samsung to the punch by announcing the first Android 4.0 powered portable media player. The NWZ-F800 Series player runs Ice Cream Sandwich that gives access to all the goodness of Android OS and features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, Tegra 2 processor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, S-Master MX Digital Amplifier, five Clear Audio technologies for improved sound reproduction, xLOUD speaker and storage capacities ranging from 8GB to 32GB.
Sony promises an audio playback of 20 hours and continuous video playback of 4.5 hours.
The player will be available in US in 16GB and 32GB capacities from August for $270 and $300 respectively.
