Judge’s decision to withhold Samsung’s request to stay the Galaxy Nexus injunction and the fact that Apple has posted the requisite $96 million bond has resulted in taking Galaxy Nexus off the shelves in the United States. Earlier today, Google pulled the Galaxy Nexus from their Play website and is expected to go off shelves from other retailers as well. Google confirmed to The Verge that the Galaxy Nexus is indeed off the sale but will “begin shipping again next week.”
The phone will ship with the new Jelly Bean Android 4.1 update but will it have the latest patch to circumvent the ban, remains to be seen.
