Nintendo today announced a larger-sized sibling of its 3D handheld console. Known as 3DS LL in Japan or 3DS XL in Europe, the console will make its way on July 28 carrying a price tag of 18,900 yen. The major difference between the original 3DS and 3DS LL is the display size, which is 4.88-inch for the main display and 4.18-inch for the bottom compared to 3DS’ 3.53-inch and 3.02-inch. The larger-sized 3DS is also heavier by 100g than the original Nintendo 3DS and promises a longer battery life of up to 6 hours.
3DS LL will be available in three colors – Silver-Black, White and Red-Black.
