Zync tried to grab the crowd by announcing one of the first tablets to run Android 4.0 tablet but Micromax offered a similar offering at about Rs. 3,000 less. Now Zync is trying to one up again by revealing Z-990 Plus that boasts improved specs compared to other lower-priced tablets. Priced at just Rs. 6,490, the new tablet runs Android 4.0 out of the box and features 1.5GHz processors along with 1GB RAM and Mali-400 GPU.
Despite the processor and the RAM bump, Zync has kept the display and the screen resolution same as Z-990, which is 7-inch and 480×800 pixels. Moreover, it comes with Wi-Fi, front-facing VGA camera, 4GB internal storage with microSD card slot, HDMI-port, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB port for external keyboards, flash drives and 3G dongles, microUSB port and 3600mAh battery.
Z-990 Plus is also pre-loaded with apps and games like BigFlix, Teen Patti, Rummy, Can you Draw, Speed Wordz and Word War.
