Samsung India has expanded their mid-range segment with the new Galaxy Ace Duos. Although Samsung is selling Galaxy Ace Duos with the GSM+CDMA flavor, the new Galaxy Ace variant supports GSM only. Samsung has improved on the dual SIM functionality with the integration of Smart Dual SIM feature that allows users to switch between SIM cards without having to reboot the phone and can even transfer calls from SIM2 to SIM1 so that a user doesn’t miss out on important calls.
Rest of the features include Android 2.3 OS, 832MHz CPU, 7.2Mbps support, 3.5-inch HVGA display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5MP camera, A-GPS, 3GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 1300mAh battery.
Samsung will also preload the phone with apps like ChatON, My Movies, My Music and Handy.
Galaxy Ace Duos maximum retail price is Rs. 15,090 but is going for around Rs. 13,000 at various retailers.
