Samsung’s most hyped Galaxy S smartphone has been officially unveiled at an event in London. Dubbed as Galaxy S III, Samsung is touting the smartphone to take advantage of natural interactions. For instance, SmartStay feature will keep up the screen brightness when it detects users eyes looking at the device. Couple of other natural interactions include S Voice and Direct Call that places a call directly from the SMS screen when the user places the phone near the ears.
On the hardware front, Galaxy S III is powered by 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad quad-core processor, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display (1280×720), 8MP camera with burst mode function, full HD playback and recording, S Beam support with NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, 16/32/64GB internal storage variants, microSD card slot up to 64GB and 2100mAh battery.
Samsung has confirmed to launch the phone on May 29 in Europe followed by other regions.
