TomTom to provide maps for HTC smartphones in India

Dutch navigation company, TomTom today announced a partnership with HTC for their smartphones in India. Under the partnership, TomTom will provide maps, points of interest and turn-by-turn navigation to HTC for their smartphones in India.

This is a first consumer focused partnership for TomTom in India and needless to say, they’re excited to serve the burgeoning Indian market.

HTC hasn’t divulged on which platform the maps will be integrated but we won’t surprised to see it on both Android and Windows Phone platform.
