Samsung brings Series 5 Ultrabooks to India

Samsung today dropped a pair of Ultrabooks for the Indian market. The Series 5 ultrabooks are now available in India with display size options of 13-inch and 14-inch. For the uninitiated, ultrabook is superior to the low-cost netbook and are portable and powerful enough to get the work done.

The 17.6mm thin notebooks come with an Intel Core i5 processor along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 1TB of HDD coupled with 16GB iSSD. Users can also go with SSDs alone which will be available in 128GB and 256GB capacities.

Anyways, rest of the specifications include AMD Radeon HD7550M 1GB GPU, optical disc drive (14-inch model only), 1366×768 display with 300 nits of brightness, HDMI port, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, card reader etc. Additionally, the notebooks are equipped with Battery Life plus technology that is able to hold the battery’s capacity to up to 80 percent o up to 1500 recharges.

The 13-inch Series 5 Ultrabook will sell for Rs. 48,990 and 14-inch Ultrabook for Rs. 54,390.
