Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 now selling in India

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 may lure you with a cheap price tag and Android 4.0 onboard but if you’re looking for a high-end Samsung tablet, Galaxy Tab 680 is the way to go. For the uninitiated, Galaxy Tab 680 is Galaxy Tab 7.7 known elsewhere and is available in India for a price of Rs. 33,571.

Galaxy Tab 680 is the first Samsung tablet to come with a Super AMOLED display and that too with HD resolution support. The sleek 7.89mm tablet comes with a 7.7-inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, TouchWiz UI, HSPA+ and phone calls support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 3MP and 2MP cameras microSD card slot and 5100mAh battery.

The tablet comes pre-loaded with Android 3.2 OS but Samsung has promised to release the Android 4.0 in the coming months.
