Corning Glass is supposed to be the last word in screen protection for Smartphones and other portable devices. Building on this success and innovation, Corning will introduce the next version, that is, Gorilla Glass 2 at the CES 2012 starting next week.
Corning Gorilla Glass 2, will be more damage-resistant than its predecessor.Corning is also planning to showcase the implementation of the Gorilla Glass 2 to various other large format electronic devices, auto and home appliances.
On display at the CES 2012 will be an 82-inch advanced multi-touch LCD display prototype featuring Corning Gorilla Glass as a durable, touch-sensitive, and elegant cover glass. We will definitely pay a visit to their booth to see this massive Gorilla, we mean the Glass.
