RIM to give $100 worth of apps for recent BlackBerry outage

We did call out RIM to give some credit to users and it seems they’ve heard us. RIM “as an expression of appreciation for patience during the recent service disruptions,” has promised to give over $100 worth of apps for free to BlackBerry users. These apps will be downloadable via RIM’s BlackBerry App World and will be released gradually till December 31, 2011. Some of the apps and games that will be available are:

SIMS 3 – Electronic Arts
Bejeweled – Electronic Arts
N.O.V.A. – Gameloft
Texas Hold’em Poker 2 – Gameloft
Bubble Bash 2 – Gameloft
Photo Editor Ultimate – Ice Cold Apps
