Hardware-wise, iPhone 4S may have been termed as a small upgrade as compared to an iPhone 4 but it’s a huge success when it comes to sales. Apple has confirmed that they’ve sold over 4 million iPhone 4S’ in just three days of its launch. In comparison, iPhone 4S’ direct competitor Galaxy S II took 85 days to reach a milestone of 5 million.
Apple also released some numbers related to the uptake of iOS 5 and iCloud. According to the company, 25 million devices are already powered by iOS 5 and more than 20 million users have signed up for iCloud service.
iPhone 4S went on sale last Friday and will reach more markets from October 28.
