Samsung has introduced three new affordable 3G devices for the Indian market. First up is the full-touch Champ 3.5G. Boasting 3G as well as Wi-Fi connectivity, the phone offers users quick access to email, social networks and even instant messaging. It features a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth, 2MP camera, SoundAlive support, microSD expansion card slot (up to 16GB) and 1000mAh battery. It is priced for Rs. 5,590.
Moving up the ladder a bit is the Chat 527. Its a candybar QWERTY that comes with an optical keyboard, 2.4-inch display, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, microSD card slot and 1000mAh battery. It will go for Rs. 5,930.
The final device to be announced is Primo. A simple candybar device but its claim to fame is the metallic design and sleek body. Primo comes with a 2.4-inch display, 5MP camera with flash at the back, a front-facing VGA camera for video calling, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and microSD card slot (up to 16GB). Its priced at Rs. 6,590.
