Sony reduces PS3 price to $249

Sony has made its PS3 console lucrative than ever before with the announcement of a price reduction. Effective immediately, Sony’s PS3 console can be bought in North America for a price of just $249. That’s the base model with 160GB HDD. The 320GB variant costs $299 and in addition to it, Sony will launch a limited edition inFAMOUS 2 bundle for $299 that will come with a 320GB PS3, copy of inFAMOUS 2 game and 30-day PlayStation Plus membership.

PS3 is one of the best gaming consoles around considering it supports Blu-ray, 3D, motion-gaming with Move and much more.
