While most tablet manufacturers force consumers to stick to a single OS, ViewSonic has gone ahead by trying to give the best of two worlds. Its newly announced ViewPad 10pro runs both Windows 7 and Android OS. The tablet is powered by Intel’s 1.5GHz Z670 Atom processor and 2GB RAM that makes running two OS’ possible.
ViewSonic has built Android OS on top of Windows 7 which means a user will have to click on the Android icon in Windows to start the Android OS.
On the features front, ViewPad 10pro comes a 10.1-inch display with 1024×600 resolution support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI-out, 1.3MP camera, up to 32GB SSD, microSD card slot and a battery life of up to 8 hours.
ViewSonic plans to sell the tablet later this month at a price of $599 for 16GB and Windows 7 Home Premium variant and $699 for 32GB and Windows 7 Professional tablet.
