RIM has unwrapped its first BlackBerry 7 OS powered phone in India. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 might look similar to other BlackBerry devices but is the hardware that matters the most. The Bold 9900 is the thinnest BlackBerry by RIM that adopts a touch and type interface featuring a 2.8-inch touchscreen VGA display along with BlackBerry’s renowned QWERTY keyboard.
Internally, it is powered by a 1.2GHz CPU, 768MB RAM, Liquid Graphics technology and comes with NFC, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, GPS, Wi-FI.
As for the OS, it is the most refined BB OS till date that is more user friendly, secure and comes with an improved browser, voice activated search, BBM 6 etc.
Bold 9900 will retail in India for Rs. 32,490.
