New Galaxy Tab 10.1 update brings TouchWiz UI to the tablet PC

Samsung has a not-so-good reputation when it comes to delivering firmware updates for its flagship devices so the new update for Galaxy Tab 10.1 is surely worth trumpeting about. Just as promised, Samsung has released a major software update for Galaxy Tab 10.1 that brings TouchWiz UI along with other improvements.

For starters, the 188MB update now features Mini Apps, Live Panel, Media and Social Hub and few preloaded apps. Additionally, it ups the ante for business users with features like full Exchange ActiveSync v14 support, on device encryption etc.

Its an over-the-air update so users will receive an update notification on their tablet devices.
