Motorola has announced a new entry-level Android phone for Asian, European and Latin American markets. The XT531 is a compact touchscreen phone that runs the latest Android 2.3 OS and features an 800MHz CPU, 512MB internal memory, dual-band 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE, 5MP autofocus camera, front-facing VGA and Moto Switch UI to balance professional and personal profiles.
Moreover, the phone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio with RDS support, LED notifications and 1540mAh battery that can give up to 8 hours of talk tim and 28 hours of standby on 3G.
Motorola XT531 will be marketed with different names in different regions like Fire XT in Europe and Spice XT in Latin America. Select Asian countries will also get a dual-SIM variant.
