Razer is closing in to make its portable gaming PC a reality. They’ve managed to zero in the processor that will power its Switchblade “concept”. It will be the world’s first device to use Intel’s Atom Z690 CPU clocking at 1.70GHz.
The change is understandably due to the new processor’s improved performance as it can run games at a faster clock speed, about 13 percent faster than the previous generation.
Switchblade was announced at the CES this year and its uniqueness is the ability to run Windows OS as well as able to remap all the keys on-the-fly according to game’s requirement. It will also have a mini HDMI port, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi and 3G.
