Apple today revamped its Macbook Air notebook adding a choice of new processors along with other features. Apple also discontinued its entry-level Macbook for Macbook Air, which will now become Apple’s entry-level device across the Macbook range. The new 11- and 13-inch Macbook Air now comes in options of Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 processors, making the Macbook Air twice as fast than the previous generation.
In addition to the faster processors, Macbook Air is pre-loaded with newly released Mac OS X Lion and is equipped with Thunderbolt I/O technology and a backlit keyboard.
The 11-inch Macbook Air starts from Rs.56,900 that features 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD whereas the 13-incher starts from Rs.73,900 that includes a 1.7GHz CPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD.
