Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple is preparing to launch a new iPhone sometime later this quarter. Although the report doesn’t mention the timeframe, previous rumors suggest late August or September as the launch month.
The report also spills some details of the phone which is said to be lighter and thinner than the current iPhone 4, feature an 8 megapixel camera and wireless baseband chips from Qualcomm.
As per one supplier, Apple will be aggressive with the sales of the new iPhone. Apple is purportedly looking to sell around 25 million units by the end of this year.
