Google may have a rough history with social networks but they’re hoping to change with Google+. Google+ is the search giant’s latest attempt and going by the features, Google+ looks like a culmination of Twitter and Facebook with a Google twist.
Google+’ foundation is the Circles. A user can create Circles or groups and can share information with them. For instance, user will be able to share his weekend party info with his Friends but not with his Office Circle.
Next up is Hangouts. It’s like a normal meetup but the one that can be attended virtually. A user can hangout with people from a particular circle and have a face-to-face chat.
Sharing is the key to any social network and Google+ is offering something to share as soon as it happens. With Instant Upload, users will quickly share their content with the rest of the circle.
Sparks is like a search engine but the difference is it tracks a topic of user’s interest.
Finally, it’s the Huddles that is nothing but a group chat feature for Google+ users.
Google+ is currently in a limited trial but you can register your interest at the link below.
