LG today unveiled its new line of 3D monitors that promises to give a flicker-free experience. LG reckons flickering and the resulting sickness has restricted consumers to opt for 3D products but the new Cinema 3D Monitors – D41P and D42P help to solve that.
Certified “flicker-free” by two European safety certification agencies, users will be able to enjoy 3D images without any dizziness and nausea. Additionally, the full HD monitor is equipped with LG’s Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) 3D technology, which means the monitors provide clearer, brighter 3D images with reduced crosstalk.
The Cinema 3D monitors support HDMI 1.4 as well as on-the-fly 2D to 3D conversion.
The LG Cinema 3D Monitors are launched in Korea today and will be followed by other regions in early June starting with Europe.
