There’s a fair chance that HTC’s event on April 12 will announce the oft-rumored Pyramid phone. However, there will be a slight change in the name, according to a Pocket-lint source. Apparently, the phone will be known as Sensation when it comes to the Blighty, which if true, will be the same moniker for other European and Asian countries as well.
“I can clear up a couple of those questions for you. It WILL be coming to the UK, though I can’t say to which network. And Pocket-Lint you’re spot with the naming, as it will be launched in the UK as the ‘HTC Sensation’,” said Pocket-lint’s source.
HTC Pyramid (or Sensation) is rumored to have a huge 4.3-inch display with Android 2.3 onboard and a dual-core processor.
