Nintendo 3DS sales create record, doesn’t say how much

Nintendo 3DS that went on sale this weekend in United States has got off to a great start. Nintendo has confirmed that the sales in U.S. were “the highest of any Nintendo hand-held system in our history.” However, Nintendo hasn’t revealed the exact sale figures but says to wait till April 14 when NPD Group will unveil first week sales of their 3DS console.

Nintendo 3DS is one of the first 3D-based handheld console that allows gamers to play games in 3D without the need to wear special 3D glasses.
