It seems Motorola is taking a breather by not launching an Android phone today. Instead, they’ve unwrapped Gleam, a clamshell phone for “style conscious” that will be showcased next week at the Mobile World Congress.
The 13.9mm phone’s design resembles Motorola’s former successful RAZR line but features a 2.4-inch QVGA internal display with LED matrix taking the outer part, FM Radio, 2MP camera, MP3 player, WAP 2.0 browser support, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB.
It will be available in three colors – graphite gray, lacquer red and thistle by first half of this year.
Gleam will be showcased at the MWC next week.
