The Release Candidate of Internet Explorer 9 is now available for download from Microsoft. The Release Candidate or better known as the RC version is a proof that MS’ IE9 browser is ready for primetime and a similar version could be released as the final build.
Anyways, the current RC is available at the link below in 40 different languages and adds in many new features to improve performance, user experience and safety for consumers.
The RC is faster overall, consumes less memory than previous versions, support for various emerging web standards like CSS3 2D Transforms, HTML5 Geolocation, UI improvements, One Box search and more importantly, tracking protection that allows consumers to choose what information should be sent to different websites.
