Sony Ericsson is looking to launch its PlayStation Phone in April, reports Pocket-lint. According to their source who is aware of the development, Sony Ericsson is “going big on this one” and is looking to unveil the device at Mobile World Congress and start selling in April.
Sony Ericsson’s PlayStation Phone has been leaked quite a few times before and is expected to run Android OS with a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, 512MB of RAM, 1GB ROM and a display ranging in 3.7 to 4.1-inches.
Sony recently announced its official PlayStation app for the Android and iOS and though the initial version will concentrate on the social part, we cannot rule out the fact that future versions will integrate some type of support to play games as well.
