Google’s maiden attempt to bring web browser to the television set has seen its first real update. Google is now pushing Google’s TV first software update that brings in some new features.
The new update will bring an upgraded Netflix app that will search, browse or queue movies or show or even mail them. Moreover, the update now features dual view allowing users to watch TV while they surf the web and an Android remote control app that in addition of performing regular remote control functions, also doubles up as a voice search for the TV.
Google will roll out the update to Google TV users throughout this week.

Although there were some updates needed, Google TV is everything they said it would be and more. I love it and I am never going back to TV without Google. I just like how I don’t have to wait for commercials anymore! I simply switch to Facebook until my show returns.
