Nvidia has been touting its Tegra-based tablets since the beginning of the year but we’re yet to see a real competitor that will take on the likes of iPad or Galaxy Tab. However, at the earnings call today, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang confirmed that things are going to change soon and are working hard with Google to build a “magical product.”
We’re not sure how magical the tablets would be but Huang assures that some of their products will “really surprise people and delight consumers.”
Huang also acknowledged that although they’ve taken longer than expected, they want to make sure they build a quality product and not a tablet with a piece of glass and an operating system on top.
