The last time we heard about Dell, they were shopping for channel partners for its mobile phone business so it’s surprising to see Dell’s (first) phone for the Indian market has gone on sale and is available right now from retailers.
A local retailer from Mumbai is currently selling the Dell XCD28 for Rs.10,900 whereas Flipkart discounts it further to Rs.10,599.
Dell XCD28 is a 3G-enabled phone running Android 2.1 OS. The phone has a 600MHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a resistive touchscreen, 3.2MP autofocus camera, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and microSD card slot.
The phone comes with 1-year warranty from Dell India.
