It’s not a surprise really but if you’re looking for a tentative release for Nokia’s first MeeGo device, it will be in 2011. Nokia’s CEO, Stephen Elop confirmed in the Q3 earnings call that the “first MeeGo device will be a 2011 event” and even claimed that their MeeGo efforts “inspires both confidence and excitement.”
Elop didn’t divulge any more details but we do hope it is competent enough to stand against Android, iOS, Blackberry and the likes.
