Dell has launched its first Android tablet for the Indian market. Known as Streak, it’s a 5-inch tablet and will initially run on Android 1.6 OS. However, Dell has confirmed that the tablet will be updated to Android 2.2 (Froyo) later this year.
As for other features, it will have a 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5MP camera with dual LED flash, front-facing VGA camera, 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot.
The tablet will sell for Rs.35,000 and Tata Docomo subscribers will get 500MB worth of free data for the first six months.
