Sony Ericsson has revealed a nifty accessory for Android users. It’s the LiveView which is nothing but a small display that shows off the phone’s content so you don’t have to pop the phone out from your pocket whenever you receive SMS or Facebook/Twitter update. To make this work, all a user needs to do is download Sony Ericsson LiveWare Manager app from the Android market and pair the LiveView with the device via Bluetooth.
The device once paired allows users to control music, read RSS feeds, Facebook, Twitter, check incoming call, SMS on its 1.3-inch OLED screen, which is controlled with a physical button and touch-sensitive buttons on the side.
LiveView will be available in Q4 this year and is compatible with Sony Ericsson’s Xperia devices and HTC’s Desire and Samsung Galaxy S.
