Nokia starts N8 pre-orders in UK

UPDATE: Nokia has started pre-orders of N8 in USA and many other European countries for $549 and 479 euros respectively. Nokia USA| Nokia Germany.

Nokia has confirmed that its flagship model, N8 will be out by end of this month and is up for pre-order in UK. Consumers can pre-book their devices from Nokia UK website for £429 unlocked or for free with a monthly commitment of £35.

Starting from October 1, Nokia N8 will also be available from Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Phones4u, Tesco, Three Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

N8 is Nokia’s first Symbian^3-powered phone and features 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 3G, 12MP Carl Zeiss optics with Xenon flash, 720p HD video recording with HDMI-out, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, FM Radio, 16GB internal memory and microSD card slot that can be expanded up to 32GB.
