Toshiba creates world’s fastest SDHC memory cards

Toshiba has announced that they’ve develop the world’s fastest SDHC memory cards. The SDHC and microSDHC UHS-I cards boast world’s fastest read and write speeds and are compliant with SD 3.0 and UHS 104 (SDHC), UHS50 (microSDHC) standards.

The SDHC UHS-I cards give a maximum read/write speed of 95/80 megabytes per second whereas microSDHC UHS-I cards will give a max. read/write speed of 40 and 20 megabytes per second.

The new cards will go on sale in November but are being showcased at IFA in Germany.
