
Wyncomm who recently entered the crowded Indian mobile handset market has launched Y-45 phone equipped with Hindi QWERTY keyboard. The Y-45 is India’s first phone to have a Hindi QWERTY keyboard, enabling faster typing of India’s official language.
Wyncomm says such a keyboard could benefit consumers from Tier II and Tier III towns where Hindi is used more than English.
Additionally, the Y-45 has a dedicated key for 160by2 SMS application and features dual SIM capability (GSM+GSM), 2.2-inch screen, social networking support via Nimbuzz and Snaptu, Saarthi Location finder, 1.3MP camera with video recording, Bluetooth and 1100mAh battery.
The Y-45 will retail for Rs. 3,395.
