Netflix’s app that was available only on iPad is now available on other Apple iOS devices, namely the iPhone and iPod touch. The app goes for free in the App Store that will allow Netflix subscribers to watch TV shows and movies on-the-go.
The Netflix App works over both Wi-Fi and 3G and categorizes content according to user’s preferences, new arrivals and Instant Queues.

Just played a movie over 3G, started with a bunch of Skips, but stable after. One big caveate on iPhone4, the app consumed 75% of the battery after 1 hour of playback. Does not look good for the ability to stream multiple movies or even one full lenght movie without a power connection active…Maybe I still have to convert/rip DVD movies with iFunia DVD ripper pro to my MAC and enjoy on the go, also battery not use up so quickly, stick with long time…
