Sony today announced A Series portable media players for the Indian market. The A844 (8GB) and A845 (16GB) are touted as the slimmest Walkmans till date and features a 2.8-inch OLED WQVGA screen (400×240 pixels) that claims to give faster response time, improved color reproduction and clarity.
Walkman players ensure topnotch audio performance and the new models are no exception. The models come with digital noise cancelling tech, Clear Stereo/Bass, 5-band EQ and more. On the video front, the player supports video playback up to a resolution of 720×480 (via TV-out) at 30fps.
The estimated audio playback is up to 31 hours for audio and 9 hours for video.
A844 and A845 are available in black, bronze (A844) and white (A844) for Rs. 8,990 and Rs. 11,990 respectively.
