Consumers seeking pocket camcorders have got another option to choose from. Kodak has announced Playtouch pocketable video camera and though it does not have an optical zoom like Sanyo’s offering, Playtouch is unique in its own way.
Playtouch features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that makes it easy to view full HD recorded videos and even edit them with the help of built-in video editor. Moreover, it can capture still images at 5MP resolution and has smart face tracking tech, image stabilizer, HDMI-out, microSD card slot and compatibility with PC and Mac.
It will arrive this fall for $229.95.

The Playtouch looks cool. I have a Playsport, which is a lot of fun, but the image stabilizer only gets you so far. One solution: the pocket-sized readysteady. It gives you steady hand-held shots and also works as a monopod.
